Development Intern

The Development Intern will support the Development team with all fundraising and communications activities.

What to expect from Children & the Arts:

  • To gain experience working in a national children’s arts education charity
  • To gain overall experience in fundraising and communications, including:
    • prospect research
    • event organisation
    • social media
    • web copy writing
    • database management (Raiser’s Edge)
    • general office administration

Reporting to Senior Development Manager
Salary £7.20 per hour 
Contract Following a two week trial the successful candidate will join the team for three months on a three day a week contract (there is some flexibility depending on candidate’s availability)
Hours 9.30am-5.30pm (1hr for lunch), with occasional evenings
