'Monster Mayhem' at The Mall

During the October half term, from Tuesday 24th October until Saturday 28th October, The Mall Wood Green is inviting children to take part in the third instalment of its Mall Monster weeks which has seen hundreds of local children take part in their free Mall Monster week workshop.
Kicking off on Tuesday 24th October, and running for the remainder of the week between 12pm and 4pm, youngsters are being given the opportunity to take part in a free 'Make a Mask' workshop where they're encouraged to get creative and design a creepy mask in time for Halloween.

Adding to the fun, the shopping centre's very own 'Mall Monster' mascot will be making a special appearance on Friday 27th October from 12pm until 4pm to meet with children and help get them into the spooky spirit by posing for photos. After visiting The Mall's VIP guest, youngsters will then have the opportunity to transform into a scary creature themselves, with the help of the centre's free face painter who will be available throughout the whole weekend.

The week of free fun concludes on Saturday 28th October when children can work alongside the centre's arts and crafts team to help them recreate The Mall's very own lift size 'Mall Monster' using recycled materials.

Isaiah Fapuro, Marketing Manager of The Mall Wood Green commented:

"Our Mall Monster weeks have been a real hit throughout the year and I'm thrilled we're able to host another event just in time for the scary holiday. Our free entertainment provides a wonderful opportunity for local families to enjoy a variety of activities throughout the school half term.

"We are especially excited about making our Mall Monster out of recycled materials as we pride ourselves on our initiatives that inspire youngsters about recycling and keeping London green. I look forward to welcoming shoppers to our week of spook-tacular fun."
