Eastside Educational Trust are looking for young people who live, work or study in Hackney who want to get their voices heard and learn the film making skills to help them do it.

Working as part of the Future Hackney project being run by Innercity Films we are offering the opportunity to work with a professional film maker over 5 days in the Easter holidays to learn the basics of camera operation, framing, sound recording and editing. The group will then work together to devise, shoot and edit a short film based on their thoughts and experiences of what Hackney means to them.

The project will run on:

Monday 3rd April
Tuesday 4th April
Wednesday 5th April
Monday 10th April
Tuesday 11th April

Time: 10.00am – 5.00pm

We are particularly keen to hear from young people in Hackney who have an interest in film and have an opinion they want to share but don't normally have the chance to learn the skills or have access to the resources to help them do it.

If this is you, or if you know someone that fits the bill, then we want to hear from you.

Applications close on the 19th March - full information can be found at www.eastside.org.uk or give Felix a call on 020 7033 2380
