In 2018 we have big plans brewing...

This year, we’re launching a new visual arts challenge open to young people aged 11 - 14 years across London and Essex, supported by the Jack Petchey Foundation.

We have sketchpads full of plans - but we want young people, teachers and arts educators to help us shape our ideas and join us on this artistic adventure by taking part in one of our panels:

Youth Panel

  • Open to young people aged 11 – 19 years with an interest in making art and ready to share their ideas! There are also opportunities for young people to be involved in the judging of the competition and curating the final event later in the year.

Educators Steering Group

  • Open to teachers and arts educators working in London and Essex, specialising in arts and creative subjects.

These panels will help develop the art challenge to ensure it appeals to both teachers and students.

We’re inviting any interested young people, teachers and arts educators to join us for a chat over tea and biscuits at the first meeting on Tuesday 20 February 4:30-6:30pm at Oxford House in Bethnal Green E2 6HG (closest tube stations are Bethnal Green and Whitechapel).

Please register your interest in attending by emailing [email protected] by Friday 9 February.
