Quests take children most in need on a year-long cultural journey. All our Quests commence with the children visiting their local cultural venue. For many of the children taking part this will be their first experience of visual or live arts in a professional setting. After their visit, the children participate in workshops with professional practitioners (artists, storytellers, singers, musicians), giving them an opportunity to explore their own creativity. Each Quest culminates in an opportunity – perhaps once-in-a-lifetime for many students – to exhibit their work in their partner gallery or peform on stage at their partner venue.

OperaQuest

For our pupils to experience working with a real-life opera singer and to have the opportunity to watch an opera has impacted on their learning and life experiences… Learning in this way has to be the most powerful learning.
