Stage Two Start Applications Are Being Processed
The Stage Two applications for the Children & Arts Start Programme will be assessed by an independent panel. Each member of the Children & Arts selected panel has an education and/or arts background. The panel will select a diverse offering of art forms across the UK and lend impartiality, knowledge and experience to the selection process.
Arts Partners for 2008/09 will be announced at the beginning of May
Children & the Arts Start programme provides funding and support for cultural organisations to develop and deliver arts enrichment programmes for primary and secondary school students. Through Start, students who would not otherwise have the opportunity to engage with their local cultural venue, will attend at least two professional performances, concerts or exhibitions as well as taking part in enrichment programme based around these experiences.
