This October half term (Friday 27th October to Sunday 4th November) is Arts & Kids Week.  As in previous years, Children & the Arts and Classic FM are teaming together to promote the many children’s arts events taking place right across the UK.

Supporting the event and becoming a Children & the Arts ambassador is Classic FM presenter Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen:

As a dad I think it’s great we’ve got Arts & Kids Week. You’re no longer stuck for something to do, baffled where to look or worried how long it’s going to take you to get there when you actually find something, instead events convenient for you are available on the Children & the Arts website. The whole family can be part of fun and exciting activities near to where they live, and of course enjoy the wonderful world of the arts together (Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen).

This October half term Classic FM Arts & Kids Week will be linking families to hundreds of arts events around the country, from storytelling, painting, drawing, and design workshops to film making, animation, music and photography master-classes, concerts, backstage theatre tours and much, much more. All our suitable for children and families and many are free!

You can find thrilling ideas for fun days out by searching our events listings, visiting Classic FM’s website, and by listening to Classic FM.  There will also be special online and on-air features, plus the chance to enter an exclusive theatre competition!
