Children & the Arts’ Chief Executive Jeremy Newton argues in this month’s Arts Professional that it is vital for arts education to be included in the overhaul of the curriculum.
The article points to the dangers of a narrowing curriculum which could squeeze out subjects such as theatre, art, music and dance. It concludes that arts education should be a ”permanent entitlement of every child”.
