StoryQuest is a national festival of storytelling which aims to teach children about the joys of narrative and to encourage families and communities to share stories.
StoryQuest 2007 launches with Family Storytelling Day on November 2nd when all families are encouraged to sit down together and tell the stories of their family, including tales about those that have gone before, perhaps over old photograph albums.
Throughout November 2007 StoryQuest events will be taking place taking place in cultural venues around the UK, from the Tower of London and HMS Belfeast to the Pier Arts Centre in Orkney and Boddelwyddan Castle in North Wales.
